   Rad XP-UW

  • Rad XP-UW (UnderWater)
is a complete and integrated spectroscopy solution for underwater radiation monitoring in the ocean. It consists of detection unit and local controller unit that are located under water and above water surface.
Measured data, including system status, spectra and dose rate information, are transmitted via LAN, Wi-Fi, GSM, CDMA, 3G/4G telecom to remote users.

    System Features
    - IP68 grade detection unit and controller unit
    - Anti-fouling
    - Wide operation temperature (- 30 to +60 ℃)

    [Detection unit]
    - External housing- Poly asetal for tentative operation and Stainless steel housing for permanent operation
    - Reliable and proven algorithm for dose rate conversion
    - Compatible with various types of radiation detectors; NaI(Tl), LaBr3(Ce), GM tube, etc.
    - No need of artificial isotopes for calibration: natural isotope (K-40 and/or Tl-208) based autonomous and continuous energy-channel calibration

    [Local controller unit]
    - Wired Communication (LAN, Serial) / Wireless communications (CDMA / GSM / Wi-Fi)
    - Data storage for more than 365 days (60 min. spectra)
    - Built-in GPS
    - Central monitoring SW: u-RaMon, server base web SW, for centralized monitoring and system control
    - Options: Weather sensors, solar panel

    Central Monitoring Software (u-RaMon)
